  1. Don’t leave soil bare
  2. Grow a variety of plants
  3. Grow more herbs and flowers
  4. Plan 2 months ahead
  5. Have a list before going to the garden centre
  6. Feed large plants weekly or bi-weekly 
  7. Plant according to the season
  8. Pruning regularly 
  9. Herbs don’t like too much nitrogen
  10. Work with nature, not against it
